You've never seen anything quite like it. Every seat was taken. Many were standing and some had to be turned away.

The lights dimmed, the meetin' bell rang out, an old-time "preacher man" in black coat and hat approached the mike, the banjo started picking . . .

and The Meetin' had begun.

Suddenly the choir was up singing from all over the congregation, moving down the aisles to the wooden benches on the platform.

The congregation joined in the song. And before the evening was over, they laughed and cried and clapped their hands and sang the walls down.

Amens came from all directions. And before you could say "Hallelujah!" the old meetin' house had been pumped full to overflowing with the warm, refreshing sunshine of God's love.

It was wonderful. It was beautiful. We gathered together in His name and found Him right there in the midst of us. Those of us who were there will never forget it.

You should have been there. You will be there. Every time you listen you'll find yourself smack dab in the middle of The Meetin'.
